Although he was born in Monterrey, Mexico, Dr. John Barroso has been a Texan since the age of two. Raised in a multicultural community in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area, he was able to retain his fluency in the Spanish language while assimilating English as his primary language. In 1981, Dr. Barroso received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University in the Southern California. He has practiced dentistry in the state of Texas since graduation.
Dr. Barroso is married to his high school sweetheart, Donna Adams Barroso. They have two children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Dr. Barroso love to play with his granddaughters, watch any sport that is in season (especially the Dallas Cowboys), and spend time traveling with his wife.
